Hello, I am Cate Delaney. I am a high school student that LOVES reading. I think my success as a student connects to my passion of reading the page. I have liked storytelling ever since kindergarten. Learning how to read was really hard for me. In fact, I didn’t love reading until second grade when I found my “SPARK BOOK”.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was my spark. I read the first 3 books with my mom and it led me to reading books 4 through 7 by myself. I have read over 200 hundred novels since. Finding my “SPARK BOOK” and having time to read and listen to stories opened me to the many worlds written about by countless authors.

I want to help your child find their “SPARK BOOK.” During our first meeting, I will talk with your child about their interests, passions, and favorite characters. I will use this information to curate a set of books that we can read together.
